Hi all,
I was just about to buy an XPS M1530 tonight but have been reading the forums for pros and cons. I noted a few posts were saying they were selling theirs.
I just wondered why so many were selling. Are they upgrading to Studio XPS or is Dell about to announce a new series?
As regards to the M1530, can you tell me is that has an audidgy soundcard as standard and why in the UK there is no LED screen option?
Thanks for any response.
Regards
Karl

The 1530 is an extremely popular laptop.

When I bought mine from the outlet, it took me weeks to finally snag one that I wanted. People buy up from the outlet and then sell them on ebay for a couple hundred dollars more.
If I were to buy another 1530, I would definately go the outlet again. I paid $1000 for mine and when I priced the same exact configuration, it was almost $1,900 in retail.
I think the 1530 is a very solid performer; I wouldn't be getting the sxps 16 if my wife's notebook hadn't died. She'll be getting the 1530 when my sxps 16 gets here. Otherwise, I think I could have got 2-3 years use out of the 1530. Should last my wife 10 years
Why so many people selling M1530s?
