Im having wifi issues dropping the connection or slowing to a screeching halt while browsing after 5 min or so. The only resolution is turn wifi off then back on in order to acquire a working connection again. I have the latest driver and application from Intel.
Note: I have the new wifi part after they fixed the defective part.
Is that a known issue? I have rad that some users have to disable power management on the card itself to work properly.

I haven't have any issues with my system.
I did have to change a property of the driver to use Auto rather than 20 MHz to get the full 300 Mbit/s of my Wireless-N router... but I've never actually had dropped connections. -
I had a similar issue right after my clean install but the latest drivers off Intel's site fixed it for me.

Thats exactly what I did a clean install and latest from intel but i didnt do that Auto feature thing I guess because my router is not "N" compatible anyways. All other laptops I own have no issues connecting to my router but then again all my laptops have no N.

Clean install and no additional drivers later, no problems. Works with an N router and G router.

Might want to try the latest drivers from Intel, IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless and WiFi Link Drivers-Only for Windows 7 They are version: 13.0.0.107 What version do you show in Device Manager on yours?
