    Hi,
I was having trouble of being disconnected every 2 minutes so I thought to reinstall the OS. But my bad luck, I 4got the password for my wifi. Can anyone tell me how to find the password as I have saved it in Intel wifi. here is the screen for how it looks? Any way to find my password?

    Thanks

You would need to change it or retrieve the password on your router's settings.

I think the best way is to reset your router manually and configure your password again. I'm not sure if all routers are the same, but for mine, the password in my router is seen as asterisks, so i wouldn't be able to find out that way.

my router(loaded with DD-WRT) has an option to reveal password

the only way to find the password is to go to the router page and find/reset it

or u could get a program that reveals the stuff under the astericks on ur windows machine

Discussion of bypassing security and hacks is against forum rules. We cannot help you retrieve your password. For all we know it is someone elses wifi.

What router do you have? Its best if you do it this way and modify your password.

Do you know which exact model? we should be able to walk you through, its fairly simple.

Do you know how to log into the router from your browser?

you login through 'most' routers through 192.168.1.1 on the browser.

    the default login is usually
    u: admin
    pw: admin

unless you changed it when you set it up.

You can login by hooking up by an ethernet cord to the router directly.

In back of the router there is usually small hole in which you can reset to original specs. You have to use a paper clip or some thin object to press into this hole. Do it gently but firmly. The lights will turn off momentarily then light up again. It's recommended to change the setting with cable connected instead of thru the wireless method.
