Afternoon guys. Think the title says it all really. Was just considering it for a bit of a speed boost. Anyone tried this? Know if it works?

    Thanks in advance

With the DDR3 RAM standard in the 1640, there would be no real difference, it would slow it down if anything.

'Turbo' Memory is a waste of space and money. It will have no effect, and actually, as Lax mentioned, it might even slow you down.

It all depends on how you use it, if for example you load adobe elements every day for your job then it could be quite useful because you could prbably cut the loading times in half but if there is nothing that is slowing your computer down then it is just wasted space, power and money
