So what are the chances of Dell offering the M1530 with a complete black chasis, like what the Vostro did with the Inspiron line?

I've been eyeing for the M1530 for a while now but the silver/white scheme really bugs me. IMO an all-black XPS would be much more attractive, like the M1730.

While on the subject, any word on whether there would be a Vostro variant of the Inspiron 1525 as well?

Yes well if any business laptop has a design as sexy as the M1530s with comparable specs I wouldn't hestitate to drop the bucks on one.

The M1730 and the Alienware m9750 look very sexy in black, despite the fact that both are huge as hell. A black M1530 would be something Dell should seriously consider as a customizable option.

I agree. Black is sweet! It gives an elegant, professional look to your notebook.

Then it wouldn't be an XPS exclusive with the aluminum finish. It'll be just like any other laptop!

Exactly. Better than even chance the 15.4 Latitude E will be based on the 1530 chasis, IMO.
