I haven't even received my 1530 yet, but in the weeks that I've been waiting for it I've realized that there are several things that I wished I would have configured into my build.

    These are:
    1. Bluetooth
    2. Wireless N card rather than 1395 that came with it.
    3. 7200 RPM hard drive
    4. Blu Ray drive (expensive, I know)
    5. potentially LED screen

Do you think Dell would be able to upgrade these things for me? If so, could they send someone out to do it for me/do it myself, or would I need to send it in?

You need to return and rebuy. Dell cannot change the configuration once an order is put through.

If you want to get a blu-ray drive I highly suggest the uxga screen instead of the LED one to take advantage of full 1080p high-resolution. The blu-ray drive is kind of wasted on the LED screen which is only available in xga+ resolution.

I dont know but i think it is a waste of money to spend $500 on a blue-ray.. unless you are a hard core movie fanatic.. lol

You said that you havent recieved your laptop yet, but you are going to get it either today or tomorrow, so i really dont think you can cancel it, and if you do cancel it, you will have to wait another whole 2-3 weeks before you will get your next 1530..
