    Will replacing keyboard on 1530 void warranty?

    i recently replaced my keyboard with the black vostro one. now i am having some isses with my gpu/motherboard. if dell sends a tech out will i have a problem?

    If you're concerned, just swap in the original silver keyboard just to be safe.

    If it was the same one then i would say no, but since it looks different than you might. Depends on the tech really. If you can, switch the silver one back.

    thanks, switching my keyboard should not have made my temps soar right? thats the reason im trying to get them to come out. it appears the will be replacing mo-board, heatsink and lcd.

    It shouldnt have anything to do with it. But it might raise their eyebrows enough that they refuse service. It really depends on the guy. I know my regular guy is really awesome and wouldn't care, but they are all different.
