This has been an annoyance for me. I do not want the MaxxAudio Pro (Dell audio driver). At first, I disable the speaker enhancement in the MaxxAudio interface, so it sounds like the default. However, on every restart, the speaker enhancement is turned ON again. So I uninstalled the "Realtek High Definition Audio" under Programs and Features, hoping to get rid of the MaxxAudio. However, on a restart, Windows 10 installs the driver again. This is ridiculous! How do I uninstall it completely or disable Windows from installing it again?!

In control panel - system - advanced system settings, the hardware tab. click on device installation settings and then click "no - let med choose what to do" - "never install driver software from windows update".

Thank you! I never knew there was a setting.
