Is anyone else out there running Windows 7 RC that just came out?(please don't whine about the fact this isn't production software, I work in IT and i purposefully installed this to start tinkering).

Whenever I close the lid on my m1330 and it goes in to sleep mode when I open it later I find it is turned off. When i turn it on it boots up and says windows shut down unexpectedly and give me the safe mode prompts, etc.

Anyone else seeing this behavior with sleep mode or know a workaround?

I am using all of the default drivers that windows 7 installed and have not changed any power options.

This is x64 version. I have not tested x86

I'm running this version of Win 7 (RC, 64-bit) on my m1330 without any problems.
Try to check your reliability monitor:
    Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Reliability Monitor
It should lof on all detected failures.

I had a similar problem about a year ago with clean install of Vista Ultimate. It was one of the drivers that had a problem but I don't remember which one. There were a couple of threads on this forum related to the problem. Try to use search.

I tried uninstalling it and letting it reinstall. Still having problems with it crashing while sleeping.

I even tried installing the vista x64 driver on dell website and that did not resovle the problem. Anyone else having or not having this problem with 1330 and x64 windows 7 RC?

Having the same problem on my Thinkpad...so it seems to be cross platform.
