I installed Windows 7 beta when it first came out. I downloaded the install file on my laptop somewhere. I need to re-install it again but can't the file. Does anyone know the exact name of the install file so I can search my computer for it? Thanks in advance.

I can give you two options here :

a> Press F3, in the search box click on Advanced Search. In the location field, select local hard drives. In the name column, type *.* In the size column, select < is greater than > and type 400000 KB or more. Tick on Include non indexed and hidden files and hit search. Very few options would come up and you can go through the process of elimination and find your file.

b> Go to the Windows 7 download site... hit Download and when the download box opens... note down the name of the file and search for it.

    Hope this helps :)
