    Windows 7 x64 AHCI driver

    do i need to slipstream the driver into my DVD when burning the windows 7 image onto my DVD?

    if i need to, how can i do that?? :confused:

    I don't think you can. AFAIK, you couldn't slipstream Vista either.

    On my M1530 ACHI has installed fine straight away

    ok so i guess i don't need to do it..im asking because last time when i installed XP on my m1530 it was needed to slipstream the AHCI drivers.

    The last operating system that supported slipstreaming was XP. I cannot tell you for sure if you need the AHCI drivers (cannot imagine that you would), but I can tell you that slipstreaming won't get you there.
