This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If you are getting these or similar errors when trying to use Windows Backup;

    Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Users\Mcx1-xx-PC\Contacts. Error: (The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002))
    Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Users\Mcx1-xx-PC\Searches. Error: (The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002))

    If you have been using Windows Media Center with Xbox 360 or other Media Extender devices, you could get these errors when backing up your files.
