    I linked up Windows Media Center to my XBox 360 and started to listen to my songs while watching my family photos on the big screen tv. Wow, this is awsome! :yes:

    I did notice though that my CPU was getting used a fair bit and the temps were getting warmer but not too warm. After some research on Google, I want to share what I found out;

    If you are using Windows Media Center and notice wmpnetwk.exe is hogging alot of your resources, here is what can be done to free up those resources without harming your pc or preventing the Windows Media Center from working;

    Go to your "Services" by clicking on your start icon, (bottom left of your screen) typing services.msc into the "search programs and files" and click enter on the keyboard.

    Find "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" and chose "Stop" by right clicking on it. After it has stopped, right click on it again and chose "Dissable".

    Re-boot the pc and you will be able to use Windows Media Center without your resources getting abused! :spinny:
