ive seen videos of people logging into there windows vista user account using the inbuilt fingerprint scanner, I cant seem to find anything on my system which will help me do this??

I previously had XP installed as its operating system and combining it with the dell security centre I was able to login using the finger print scanner,

unlike vista where it simply doesnt work ??

thanks and any replys will be greatly appreciated :)

Vista is so much better with the fingerprint thingie than XP. DO you have the utility and driver properly installed?

As I told you by PM, there must be a dell logon utility telling Vista to use the fingerprint reader.

Use the UPEK protector suite/driver package.
