My Studio XPS 13 came yesterday. I really love it. Its just the right size and everything.

Now, I have a really junky belkin wireless router (mom bought it). I was noticing my other laptop was running really slow yesterday but when the XPS came it would connect and work but it would be incredibly slow...plus, it would drop the connection and take like a minute or so to detect and reconnect to the router.

Part of it could be I have terrible cable internet (little mom and pop cable company but its the only option here), or part could be because of the junky router...but I'm just making sure that nobody else has had problems with their wireless card. Like I said, it would drop the connection, which my other comp wasn't doing...but my other comp was running really slow yesterday so I'm not sure.

I didn't upgrade the wireless card in building...so its whatever the standard is (Dell Wirless 1515 Wireless N Adapter).

    Thanks!

I'm going to bump this. Anyone know if this is a decent quality card or not? I mean...I'm not sure what the problem is and there's no way to tell until I go home on Sunday.

I ordered mine with the default card and I'm having no problems. I've used it at home witha d-link router and at school with their wifi and its flawless. I play online games with no lag.

Maybe you can try installing the newest drivers for the hardware.
