    Wireless card options for l502X

    Hi,

    I have been having faults with my current intel 1030 wireless + bluetooth card and they said that they would replace it with another card as they have discussed this particular wireless/bluetooth card with managers etc, and it has problems?!

    The funny thing is they said they would replace it with some kind of dell card instead of an intel one. I thought the only other option for me would be the 6230? I'm a bit confused but he said he would ring me tomorrow. I just want to know what card they could possibly replace my current one with?

    Dell only has Intel cards afaik. They will likely be replacing with another Intel 1030+bluetooth thinking you got a defective card or something.

    I don't think they will replace it with 1030 as they've already replaced it once already and the tech I spoke to said they are going to replace it with a different card with bluetooth as well. So I'm trying to think what other model they can offer other than the 6230!

    Well they only have 2 wifi+bluetooth cards...You've named them both. So you might be getting a nice upgrade!

    Ok, so I just got of the phone with dell and they said I will be receiving a 6230 by courier tomorrow :)
