    Hey Dell mates! :D
I thought I'd just chime in and inform ya'll about "The most powerful 14.1 in the world" notebook" :)
    It's the PC MicroWorks IMPULSE

    http://pcmicroworks.com/impulse.htm

    It's 4.5lbs only!

Also they have an error in their configurator... the option for the T9300 processor is $ -150 instead of adding $150
    So order now!! :p

It's configurable with a 8600M GT as opposed to the 8400M in the XPS M1330, and yet lighter and more portable than XPS M1530.
The ODM is NOT Clevo, so I hear... but PCMW is a reputable company that is a well known Clevo reseller... so they can completely be trusted..

Oh and the prices for that notebook are simply AMAZING!!
Can be purchased without OS too!

    Here's a sample config..

All for Total Price: $1204 without OS !

Good price with such a performance laptop. I already have M1330, I think I will pass as I do not game on laptops.

Ugly laptop, I don't imagine the components have been designed to work well together (like the XPS media bar, webcam an touchpad location, IR remote and general layout etc)

People buy M1330/1530 for the looks and portability..

To me, this laptop on the link doesn't have the looks.

Their ratings on resellerratings is legit (9.71 with 17 ratings). Thats an amazing deal for a 14.1 inch w/8600GT. If I would've known about this deal with I bought my laptop I would've taken it.

Especially for me since I installed my own verison of the Vista OS.

It does look a little ugly though, the speakers on the LCD don't fit wel lat all, just little squares

    From their FAQ:
If I live outside the United States, can I still shop at PC MicroWorks? Yes; however, you will be required to submit payment via bank wire or cashiers check / money order prior to the processing of your order.
This is shady business in my books. No, thanks.

Nothing shady about it... I wired the money to XoticPC before my laptop order was processed, myself living outside US :)

I doubt they are so well known as I am sure most including myself have never heard of them before. I wouldn't trust a company that screws up on their configuration page... Even if they were to include all the parts and all it most likely wouldn't perform as well and have some durability issues and I wouldn't be surprise ld if it died less than a year.

Man, it's not Dell!! They're not a madly advertising corporation...

I just posted here for those interested... it's a genuinely good deal from a reputed company. Check ResellerRatings, and screw you!
