I bought a refurbished XPS M1330 with an LED screen. I don't know how to say this exactly, but the screen is blurry. Not dramatically blurry, but just a tad bit to where things don't look sharp. Especailly when compareing with my Desktop LCD monitor. This goes for using Windows Vista or Linux. Is this a known problem or could this just be in my head?

If your desktop monitor has a higher resolution than your M1330 screen, you may see a difference in quality from watching a bluray movie.

Are you sure you are running at native resolution (1280 x 800)?

I need to work with it some more to get to the bottom of it. It's not as sharp as my home pc laptop or my other laptop. but once i finish with my linux install i'll have a final impression.

this mostly happens when you are running a lower resolution than the one your screen has, make sure you are using the native resolution and you have the drivers installed.

i finished with my linux install and it looks pretty good. strange, not as sharp as the other two lcd monitors at my house. but it still looks really good. i think it is just a personality of the monitor itself.
