I recently formatted my OS from Windows Vista x64 to Windows XP x64 with drivers found in this forum. I noticed my volume is alot louder in Windows Vista than in Windows XP. Tested this with both main and wave volume to 100% and listen through an external speaker. I have to crank up the volume nob alot more to match what is little in Vista. Why is that?

Dont know really. Can be due to many things : maybe XP drivers had an internal volume controller in its driver properties or something, maybe the application you are using to listen to music has gone through some changes, Or a driver issue.

I have both Vista x64 and XP x64
XP is better for gaming)) but cant use the fingerprint i have it installed but the Protector Suite is only 4 vista, and the sound in XP is lower. For vista i found a patch that unlocks something and the speakers are now lowder.

Does anyone knows what is AUX temp detected in everest 5 -
Both are clean install with no bloatware from dell
only power management and fingerprint for the vista.
Counter strike runs 40-50fps faster in XP x64 = 150-200fps and Vista = 80-120fps -
