Hey guys, I am interested in picking up a Dell XPS 12, and I messed around with one at Best Buy a little bit today.

I loved the feel of the screen rotating, it felt solid, and so did the rest of the build, however, I am not sure if the swivel hinges are going to hold up or not, it is a lot of moving parts, and I am just wondering if anyone has something to say towards my concern, or maybe has some experience they would like to share.

I am also considering the X230t.

    Thanks!

XPS 12 isn't a complete 360 degrees Ferris Wheel design, so you do have to watch that you don't force it the opposite way(it closes one way and opens one way), but other than that I'd say that's the least you have to worry about problems.

Just make sure that WiFi holds up the connection well and touchscreen without issues(although the latter problem seems to have disappeared with newest drivers and windows updates for my Ivy Bridge based XPS 12).
