I'm trying to solve some intermittent freeze issues by checking out I have the latest drivers, particularly with Intel HD 620. I can't install the drivers directly from Intel which would absolutely the latest available and since last Nov UWP drivers as well.
Going to XPS 13 9360 drivers download page, I can see Intel HD 620 drivers with tag of "Last updated: 11 Jan 2019". If I click the driver info open, it says its version 22.20.16.4708 A06 and released 28 December 2018. When installing that one, it says it's dated July 17 2017 so I seriously doubt it's the latest one. Back at the download page looking under "older versions" link I can find version 23.20.16.4973 A10 drivers dated 15 May 2018, which by version number are clearly newer than the one suggested earlier. They also state "Last updated: 20 Feb 2019".
On top of all this if I uninstall all Intel HD 620 drivers, let Windows use its own default ones for it and then run Dell Update utility it doesn't recommed any video driver updates at all, not even in optional updates.
So how on earth should I interpret the versions suggested and dates given by Dell to be able to figure out the absolute latest drivers available..?

Dell is a pain when it comes to versions and release dates. I try to only stick with Dell drivers for things that are only dell (if it's a Dell wireless card, thermal management, hotkey stuff, etc.).
You can install the latest Intel drivers but you'll have to remove the Dell Display drivers with the display driver uninstaller.
After that you should be able to install Intel's display drivers.lapingultah and toughasnails like this.
XPS 13 (9360) latest and "latest" drivers
