I just got an XPS 13 9343 and I absolutely love it, but I am annoyed that I cannot do 3 finger swipes for navigating web pages/explorer/etc. Has anybody found a workaround for the Windows 8.1 touchpad driver implementation that will allow you to use 3 finger swipes? Is there a hacked Synaptics driver that will work? I am pretty desperate.

It says 3 finger gestures will be used for app switching, but perhaps they can be re-assigned. -
I installed the latest Windows 10 technical preview from the Windows Insider channel on my XPS 13. 3 and 4 fingered gestures work, but the only option is to use it like alt-tab. So much disappointment.

i tried installing generic synaptics drivers with disabled driver signature but it didnt work

In Win 10 (10049) you can swipe back and forward to navigate in Chrome does not work in IE or Spartan.
Edit:
Slight correction you can swipe left and right on the touch screen to go back and forward in Chrome not on the touchpad.Last edited: Apr 8, 2015 -
