I've had my XPS 13 2015 for about 2-3 months now. It's the 1080p version with matte screen. Processor is Intel i5-5200U 2.20 GHz with 1080x1920 display and 8GB of ram.

I've noticed over the last couple months it's gotten a lot slower. I've called Dell on this and they have helped me minimize startup programs, etc., as well as make sure McAfee is working. For example, when I stream a youtube video like this one it will stutter and jitter even in 1080p (not to mention 1440p or 4K). I just tested my internet connection using speedtest.net and I'm getting around 33 Mbps download and 6 Mbps upload.

I've also had some issues trying to use this computer to do video editing. I'm using Cyberlink Powerdirector 13 to edit GoPro videos in 2.7K. Am I simply asking too much for this computer? Any solutions to get it run like new? I'm not running Adobe Premier Pro or anything super high powered like that. I just want to play HD videos on YouTube and edit my own, mostly stuff in 2.7K shot with my GoPro Hero 4 silver.

I've also had some weird screen issues (sporadic fuzzy icons or dialog boxes) that Dell is working. They are sending someone out to replace my screen, although I have some doubts it will solving the problem...seems like a scaling issue.

For YouTube video: You should not be stuttering. There are a few things I'd recommend trying:
    (1) Try running that video using different web browsers. The problem may be a configuration issue.
    (2) Make sure that your Intel HD Graphics drivers are updated. If you don't have the correct graphics drivers installed, that could also be the issue.
    (3) The third cause I'm suspecting is that you're throttling the CPU somehow... did you screw around with power settings, to cause the CPU to run at below max-speed ? That would also cause the issue.

As for video editing... again, it sounds like you might have accidentally changed some Power Options setting, that is forcing your CPU to operate at below max-speed.
