i got 2 dead pixels on my brand new QHD+ touch i7 model.
one is nearly not visible but the other one seems to be a nest of more dead pixels.
also the right edge has some uneven backlight but not this bad to exchange it. only the dead pixel nest bothers me too much on a 1400€ ultrabook (and maybe the adaptive brightness thing also if it does not get fixed by a firmware or bios update).

i`m unsure if i should try a exchange or return it and wait maybe for the new macbook air. what would you do?
