    XPS 13 9343 QHD display has 'grainy' effect

    So my display has a slight grainy effect to it which makes it look like a layer of grease is on the screen when viewing very light or white backgrounds.
    Is this abnormal? I had played with another unit before buying this and don't remember if I noticed it in the whole of 5 minutes I spent with it.

    Bumping this for hopes of any response. So far I gather that no one else notices anything like this with the screen..

    Mine too (4K Infinity display). Looks like a pattern. I can see it specially on the white. It do not disturb me too much.

    Yes it forms a sort of pattern for me too. If I load a google search result and then scroll down focusing on any of the blue text, it looks like a slight haze passing over the text(like clouds but all over) but more pronounced like there was grease on the screen or finger prints all over but which won't go even upon cleaning. I noticed this is another machine too when I bought and had it replaced for a different reason.

    i had 2 units and everyone had this grainy pattern. i think this is by design of high dpi screens, ma LG G3 has the same pattern on light colors.
