    Hi.

    I have a Dell XPS 13 9350 using windows 10.
My cursor jumps around when typing in Open Office or other venues when using extended sentence.

Researching this on the Web, it appears to be an existing problem with this model to some folks like me.

I've tried to the following with no success:
    • Downloaded TouchFreeze + TouchPad Blocker software w/o success.

    • Unchecked in “Control Mouse” The hide Pointer box when typing & Enhance Pointer Precision.
My palm is not residing on the Touchpad when typing. The cursor freely jumps to various sections of my sentences/paragraphs when typing.

Does anyone have additional suggestions i could try?

    Thanks.
    TC.

Have you tried enabling this setting: settings -> devices -> Mouse and touchpad -> "To help prevent the cursor from..."

    @Poul.
    What setting should I change.
The following are my current defaults in Mouse & TouchPad settings:

    Mouse Default:

Scroll Inactive window when hovering over them (on)

    TouchPad Default:
Leave TouchPad when mouse is connected (on)

    Reverse scrolling direction ( off)
    TouchPad (on)

    Allow tap on TouchPad (on)

Use two fingers tap for right click (on)

Press the lower right corner of TouchPad to right click (on)

Allow double tapping and drag (on)

Use two fingers drag to scroll (on)

Use two fingers pinch to zoom (on)

    TC.

Mine are the same as Poul, and I haven't had any issues yet. I've only had the machine for a week or so though.
