    XPS 13 blinking orange - does not charge anymore

    I did an update to the latest bios when it came out, and it might not be correlated, but now yesterday my front light blinks orange and the battery does not take charging anymore. It says connected not charging :|

    Anyone else seen this or have some tips? 9350 Skylake...

    That is an error code. There are a few items on the internet which help you decode the error by number and colors of blinks. I don't remember if there is a guide for the 9530 but the codes may be similar to those of the XPX 13 2-in-1 (for example):

    You can also run hardware tests. But don't just go around pressing random buttons for testing as a few 9550s have been bricked by a few "popular" keystroke combinations.

    Also search the XPS 13 and 15 threads here as there is a ton of info posted at nbr...

    Actually after a day, it started to take charge again, weird....
