    Can the eSATA port be used with regular USB devices? Seems as it doesn't fit correctly.

    it should be able to... try slowly pushing it in, (or flip the usb plug around), don't force it

    It can. That's why it's a USB/eSATA combo port. Just make sure that the plug is oriented correctly (I think that the "empty" part of the plug is on top), line it up, and press it in. If you're using the plug for the first time, it could take some firm pressure, but it'll work. I use my combo port all the time.

    Sure it does ;)
    Mine is a little hard to get in also. Just apply a little more pressure. And make sure you aren't plugging it in upside-down ;)
