Hi, I've had my xps for 6 months now and everything was working just fine until now.
When I power up my laptop the screen is black. I can hear the sound when it logs into Windows. It looks like the computer itself works fine but the screen is simply black. The funny thing is I can even adjust the brightness on the screen so it shows different shades of black.
Any ideas how can I fix it?

    Thanks :)

Sounds like you have a issue with the screen to. Since your lappy is fairly new, also...Call Tech Support and have them replace your screen with a new one. Don't try home remedies..use your warranty! ;)

Tenix, connect an external display if you can. If you have a picture on the external display, then its related to your LCD. If no picture on external display then its your GPU.

When you call Dell, this will be one of the first things they will ask you to try.
