I am about to buy an XPS 1330 but I have read a lot from you all and it appear to me that there are a lot of defects on the machine. I am not sure that it would worth my money I need to decided before the 25%off deal ends tomorrow. Thanks in advance I really have a hard time deciding on this.

The 'defects' in question arise from the dedicated video card which has flaws. Whether or not you get one of the bad ones is up to chance. The M1330 is still a great notebook.

I would pull the trigger. My friend owns one and loves it. The defects are on the video cards not the laptops and chances are you will be fine.

P.s. I love "XPS 1330 ,Does it worth it??" LOL!! :p

Plus I pulled the trigger on the M1530 because of the deal and all around the XPS rox! \

Good Luck and may the force be with you...

trust me, DO NOT ever, under any circumstance, buy a Dell. I bought a m1210 and was horrified by the build quality, screen, keyboard, etc. The BT died on me within weeks. The touchpad is kind of flimsy, and technical support is staffed entirely by technological morons.

Yeah, you just lost A LOT of credibility trashing the "iconic" m1210. It is undisputedly, one of the BEST built laptops Dell has ever made!

Buy the m1330, esp. if you can get it ON SALE. And Enjoy.

I've had my m1330 for two months, and LOVE IT!

Should my graphics card go bad, the XPS comes with a warranty, with in home service. If Dell can't fix your laptop over the phone, they'll send a tech to your home THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY to fix it.

Don't listen to some people who've had bad experiences.... you get 30 days (I believe it's 30 days, if not 20 days) to decide, and if you're unhappy, you can ship it back to Dell and get a full refund.

But I doubt you'll be unhappy! It's a GREAT laptop! Blows away my previous HP.

(Great size and weight, beautiful screen, really like the slot loading dvd/cd player, media remote control is very useful, I could go on and on....)
