    XPS 1340 Gaming?

    Just ordered this with a 9500m. Was curious what fps I could expect with L4D. Pretty much the only FPS I play. I read through most these posts and thanks to whoever showed the differences with driver updates!

    Yeah the 9500M should do a decent job at L4D. The game is pretty well optimized, and I'd expect you to be able to play it on High settings or at least have some things on high.

    Agreed. It plays with mostly high settings at native res just fine. That's mostly because of the engine though. It's very fast on even low end cards and is mostly cpu dependent.

    Yeah come to think of it I use to run Half-Life 2 with maxed out settings at 1680x1050 on a Pentium 4 and Geforce 6800 (desktop). L4D is a bit more intensive then the older Source engine games, but it is still very well optimized.
