    Hello!

I have a XPS studio 1340 with a 13.3" WXGA 1280x800 LCD but I want to change it to a better one like 1366x768 or 1440x900 or even 1680x1050 and I am having some doubts about the compatibles versions and models...
Or even if is possible to do that...

The reference of mine is:LP133WX2 13"3 WXGA (TL) (A2)
    LG Display
    PN:0X283C

It says in the web the "LP133WX2 " is for XPS 13.3" but i see differences in the pictures, mine is has the connection at the bottom left side when facing the screen from the front.

Does some one have some guide lines so I can change my LCD??

    Thanks in advance!!!

You could probably find a 13", 1366x768 screen some where. Just look for 13" laptops that have the resolution screen you want. To be honest, it might be more of a hassle than it's worth. You also have to make sure the connectors are the same.

The Sony Vaio Z is a 13" laptop with 2 screen options, a 1600x900 and a 1920x1080. I suggest the 1600x900. I'm not sure if it uses the same display connector, etc.

You cannot change to a vaio Z screen because they are 13.1", yours is 13.3".

Also, you cannot change to 1366x768 or 1600x900 or 1920x1080 because these screens are different aspect ratios and therefore different shapes to your screen.
