To me, Im leaning towards the XPS 15 since its more worth it but is the FHD screen good?

I'd go with the XPS 15. The XPS 14 isn't significantly smaller or leighter, so you pretty much don't feel the difference. So why pick the 14?
The screen of the XPS 15, as far as I've heard, is awesome and well worth the upgrade. That alone was the reason I've chosen the 15. I'd like to have the 17 but without an Full HD screen it's not worth the money in my opinion.

Your build just looks exactly like mine. :) so I think you've done a pretty good job...
The only thing: I've ordered mine with 4GB memory. I upgrade it afterwards for 130€ to 8GB myself. It's half the price you pay for Dell's Upgrade.

lol i picked the 14 on the assumption that it will be smaller and lighter coz i will be using it a lot for djing in clubs

if its not much different to the 15 then i just wasted my money

For me the 15 is portable enough :) Without Full HD no other laptop is a alternative. I like having much space to work with. And the standard dell panels are crap.

Wow..that is cheap. We in Germany have to pay 180€ for 6 and 330€ for 8GB. Dell's pricing is so incomprehensible...
I would pay for my XPS 15 in the USA ca. 1500$ which would equal 1100€. That's 400€ less than what I paid here.

In the UK the upgrade cost for the 1080p screen is £170! That would be about 200 euros!

Here in Argentina the upgrade to 1080p costs u$s46.. but i think the overall system is more expensive...

    15' / 750qm / 435m / 4gb / 500 hdd / 10809 / ext. batt = u$s1750
