The screen of the XPS 15, as far as I've heard, is awesome and well worth the upgrade. That alone was the reason I've chosen the 15. I'd like to have the 17 but without an Full HD screen it's not worth the money in my opinion. -
Thanks thats what i thought too BTW do u have any comments on my build?

so I think you've done a pretty good job...
The only thing: I've ordered mine with 4GB memory. I upgrade it afterwards for 130 to 8GB myself. It's half the price you pay for Dell's Upgrade. -
lol i picked the 14 on the assumption that it will be smaller and lighter coz i will be using it a lot for djing in clubs
if its not much different to the 15 then i just wasted my money -

Without Full HD no other laptop is a alternative. I like having much space to work with. And the standard dell panels are crap.

XPS 14 doesn't have USB 3.0.
-
Its quite cheap upgrading to a 6GB RAM. It cost SGD88 which is equivalent to around 44euros i think

I would pay for my XPS 15 in the USA ca. 1500$ which would equal 1100€. That's 400€ less than what I paid here. -

In the UK the upgrade cost for the 1080p screen is £170! That would be about 200 euros!

Pretty expensive for US standards -
Here in Argentina the upgrade to 1080p costs u$s46.. but i think the overall system is more expensive...
15' / 750qm / 435m / 4gb / 500 hdd / 10809 / ext. batt = u$s1750 -
It cost SGD180 for the FHD screen which is ~100euro
and correction 88 SGD is 49EURO
Well if thats the case i think i will be paying for the XPS15 now -
Lol I'm glad I paid less than £500 for mine. It was my lucky day.
