    Hi all
I have recently got this laptop and formatted it and clean installed everything
when i come to play with the graphics properties i am getting confused
I have installed the intel graphics driver (163547) and that seems to be running well, i can do scaling and custom settings when i am connecting to my HD TV via the hdmi output.
i have the GT520m card with the latest 201.42 driver.
when i go into the settings page for the nvidia control panel it wont let me access the customise settings saying that my cable isnt good enough.
is this because i am using a standard hdmi cable and not coming out via the mini display port?

Also is there a way to get the laptop to default to using the graphics card or does it only start using it when its under strain to conserve power?

    many thanks
