So I had Studio 1458 that had to be replaced, and lucky me they don't make studio any more so I got an upgrade to an xps.

Initially they sent me (without even asking if I approved) this:

    15z
    1080 screen
    i5-2410M
    6gigs of ram
forgot what the video card was
    500gig HDD

And after complaining, they said they will check to see what kind of 14" they can get for me since I wanted a 14" to replace what I had. Well today I got one in the mail (Again, I was never even told they were sending me one).

    14z
720p (downgrade, but it doesn't even bother me)
    i7-2640m (upgrade)
    8 gigs of ram (upgrade!)
750 gig HDD (Upgrade, but the 500 was plenty)
and an upgraded video card but a gt 520m

    Now for the questions:

    1.) Keep the 15 or the 14?
2.) Why? I can get used to the size of the 15 but love the mobility of the 14. But the 14 has more bells and whistles than the 15.

I was told the 15 is more reliable, but it seems like the trackpad is a pain, and the design sucks for having a bigger size but horrible keyboard layout. Both have the same identical keyboard and none have the side page up/down buttons, idiots.

3.) Anyone have knowledge of both or at least why I should stay away from the 14z?

4.) Should I send back the 15 and say I'm not satisfied with the 14z until I get something else? Maybe the upgrades on the 14z will make a future replacement option much better.

and yes this was a warranty replacement. I even extended the warranty(complete car as well) for a few years.

Thanks for reading, and big thanks to Dellienware for most of the help already.
