This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi all,

    if there is anyone with a XPS 14z, could you please check if there is an option in your BIOSes to disable NVidia Optimus (like in some Latitude models)?
    I'm thinking of buying one of those notebooks, and for several reasons (mainly, using Linux as OS) it could be a useful option if it would exist, but on the other hand I have heard that XPS 15z does not have it so maybe even 14z doesn't.
