When resuming from sleep, my XPS 15 Haswell will sometimes come up with the laptop screen off. No amount of key presses or mouse movement will turn the screen on.

If I close the lid or press the power button, it will sleep again, and then if I wake it back up *then* it will work.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Mine is exactly the same, even with an external Dell keyboard plugged in the sleep button (on the external keyboard) won't wake it.

I have the Base 9530 Haswell, and the problem I've been having after sleep it I can get to my desktop, but then it freezes.

Mine also freezes when switching users.

Dell can't figure it out and is sending me a new computer.

Why didn't you just get a Mac instead?

Hi, did you ever find a solution? I am having the exact same problem and Dell Support does not seem to have a solution.

    Thanks!

I had this problem for a while. Have mSata 512GB SSD.
It seems it's fixed after the latest BIOS update Resume times maybe not as quick. But it is at least reliable.
