2 weeks ago a Dell tech came to replace my screen to try and repair the wifi issue. When I got home I booted it up and seemed to take a long time compared to before the work was done. I also have no gui on boot and stopped unnecessary programs from starting on boot. Any idea's on things to look for? I did call Dell that night to tell them the wifi problem still existed and also mentioned this. I was told it's probably writing cache? what do you think?![]()

if you repair many time, better refund and buy or re-order new.

There's very little file-WRITING activity during boot, unless it is a diagnost/safe-boot.
Sounds to me like something is screwed up. Maybe the machine is having a problem with hardware detection - something not quite connected correctly from the display. Check your system devices list to see if anything is not functioning properly.
alainad has the right of it though, if it's screwed up by a dell tech rep they should fix or replace. -
