    Hey there,

I thought it would be easier if we create a little drivers thread for the XPS15 9530 since the "Owners lounge" is too active and posts with new drivers can be overseen quite easily. The "Clevo" forum has a similiar thread and I always found it very usefull.

So this thread is here to post and discuss the latest & newest driver updates for the XPS15 9530.

For example: Bios A05 was released 4 days ago. Anyone know what has changed? Same for the Intel HD4600 and the NVIDIA GPU driver. New release from dell on the 28.05.14.

New touchpad drivers came out late may, not sure if its just me but they broke the swipe from left gesture for me, it no longer changes active full screen pages and instead opens the menu bar to show a list of open pages despite the setting.

Sorry, you must be mistaken. It clearly says they improved swipe performance. :) Sorry, just messing with ya. I'd suggest removing the touchpad driver, reboot, then reinstall the latest one - see how it goes.

    Dell Touchpad Driver - Version 17.0.15.84, A02

    Fixes
    - Added disable navigation in the button zone option to the GUI.

    Enhancements
    - Improved edge swipe performance.

It is possible to install the vanilla GPU drivers for Intel and NVIDIA on the XPS 15 or the system requires the Dell/outdated signed drivers?

Yes, I'm running nVidia 337.88 drivers without any problem. On older Dell systems I think there were issues with getting sound out via HDMI but I don't think such problems exist now.

I installed latest Intel Wireless Drivers 17.1.0 from official Intel Download Center but since then everytime i woke up my laptop from sleep mode i got BSOD error 'DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION'. After moving back to latest Dell wireless driver everything went back to normal. Kinda weired because I never experienced such behaviour previously with wireless drivers from official Intel site.
    Anyone had experienced similar behaviour?
