    I am deciding between

    Shin-Etsu MicroSi G751

    and

    Arctic Silver 5

Which do you think is best for the l502x? I read as5 is not that great on this system. Hows G751?

Shin-Etsu X23-7783D is what I repasted my cpu and gpu with. AS5 is great backup but there are better pastes out there.

it doesnt matter, any aftermarket paste will suit your needs fine. Only if you apply it and let it cure properly.

Edit: I dont know why people bash AS5 so hard on these forums, the amount of difference you see with other pastes is 2-3 degrees max. I dont think they let it cure long enough or apply too much.

Indigo extreme isn't a paste, it's a metal alloy which fills the gaps when it melts.

Arctic Cooloing MX-4 is as good or better than AS5, cheaper, and doesn't have a curing period! :) I used MX-4 and dropped temps by over 10C from stock Dell paste job.

    Another vote for Shin-Etsu X23-7783D.

Doesn't need to settle after so-many hours to achieve max performance and is super easy to apply.

Thumbs up, I love OCZ Freeze, instant temp drops and there is no need for spreading as with other pastes. You also get a large tube to boot.
