    XPS 15 4GB come with one or two DIMMs?

    Anyone know if the XPS 15 is coming with 2x2GB DIMMs or 1x4GB DIMM? Dell didn't say on the page.

    Always assume that it comes with 2x DIMMS. If it only came with 1 DIMM it would be easier to upgrade, but would only run at half speed until you got a 2nd DIMM in there, and most people aren't technical enough to realize that.

    Also it is an axiom in the computer world that no matter what computer you will buy until the end of time, the manufacturer will fill every memory slot with the smallest possible chips. Because it is cheaper, and more annoying.

    Thanks for the help. I did assume it came with 2, but wanted to be sure. I was pricing the 6GB XPS vs getting 4GB and buying more from Crucial to get 8GB.

    It definately comes with 1 DIMM in India.
    Its explicetily mentioned 1 x 4GB.
