Guys, I had an unfortunate accident this morning where my laptop slid out of my bag and hit the concrete and got scuffed up pretty good on the top edges and a couple scratches on the top. The laptop works fine, this is just cosmetic, but I am wondering if anyone has any info on where I could get a replacement top cover or if I could send this in to Dell to get replaced?

    Thanks for any help!

So I called Dell this morning and they are going to send out a technician to replace the whole top display / cover assembly as this is the 4K Infinity Display w/ touch screen and the cover alone is not available. I was told that the replacement would consist of removing the whole top display / hinge cover assembly and unplugging the display cable / touch screen cable and wifi antenna cables and replacing with a new assembly unit. $300. Hopefully it turns out OK. I asked if I could choose to not move forward if I wasn't comfortable with the technician or the parts they sent out, and they said it was no problem and would receive a full refund.
