I put my laptop to sleep yesterday and today when i removed it from the bag it was heated and 60% of the battery was drained. I think my laptop doesn't to into sleep at all. When i press the power button it goes into sleep for few seconds and then the screen turns on again. Is this normal?

No it isn't normal. Go to the advanced settings of the network adapter and disable wake on pattern match

    There are two of them:

    Wake up magic packet &
    Wake up pattern match
