    Hi,
I got my FHD Dell XPS 15 and I believe something is a bit weird about the screen colours. I wanted to know how can I do to test this (with programs such as the ones used in reviews) and re-calibrate it to be more precise.
    Thank you

No screen is the same so one person's settings will be wrong on the next, you will need to calibrate it with something like a spyder calibration tool.

    Thanks for your reply!
So I can't just use some kind of program, right? I would need an external device to properly calibrate it?

    Yes
It is (even for well trained people) very difficult to judge colors correclty - they depend not only to their natural color but also to the ambient light (and what your brain makes out of it).

What it makes it even more difficult is that the XPS15 has no hardware controls.

One thing that you could try is to match the white to a white paper which you place directly beside the screen. But for the primaries and secondaries you will need a hardware probe.
