    Hi All

I have carried out a search on this site and looked in the manual but I cannot find any software install on my new XPS 15 (nice laptop very pleased).

Do you guys/girls know if I am supposed to have it installed? or do I have to download it?

I have the upgrade 1080p screen btw if that matters?

    TIA

    Akeap

It's called FastAccess if that helps.

It is Fast Access Facial Recognition 3.0. It is supposed to be installed, it might be in a "Sensible Vision" folder (the manufacturer). If it doesn't appear to be installed on your computer, you can go download it through Dell SmartSource. The screen wouldn't affect the facial recognition software.

Some configurations of the XPS do come with FastAccess installed. If you have it, you may activate it by going to the Start Menu > All Programs > FastAccess Facial Recognition > "Configure FastAccess" and following the prompts. If your configuration did not come with it, then my understanding is that you will not actually be able to download it through Dell's Smart Source. That website is meant to retrieve software that came with your machine originally. The good news, however, is that you didn't get it with your machine and want to add it, you can download a trial version and purchase a permanent copy through Sensible Vision's website - go to the website and click on the "Home & Small Business Users" graphic on the homepage.
