I think some of you have been experiencing the same problem as me. It seems that when I set the timer for the keyboard backlight to anything other than 1 minute, it resets back to 1 minute when I perform actions such as rebooting or waking my unit from sleep. Does anyone know if there is a fix to make it permanent? Thanks!

We seriously need a better search mechanism, I wouldn't have found it if I didn't remember who started the thread. -
That link only addresses how to change the timer of the backlight of the keyboard rather than fixing the issue where it keeps resetting to 1 minute after rebooting or waking from sleep. When I attempt to change it to 15 min or always on, it always keeps reverting back to 1 minute.

Same problem here. I really would love it if someone knew the fix for this.

I second that.. I haven't been able to maintain the set keyboard lights OFF settings for long. I set them OFF, the next time I boot, they are back on again... Pretty irritating...
Would be great if anyone could help! -
That's pretty funny. I am exactly the opposite, I want mine on bright 100% of the time. Different strokes, right?
