    Hi All

I'd really like to put a decent Nvidia GTX mobile card in my L501. Just wanted to know if this was possible? If so, where the heck would you buy a better GPU?

    Thanks

    MBD

Nope, sorry, it's soldered onto the motherboard. It cannot be upgraded.

It's not just desoldering the chips, but flashing vBios, buying the actual GPU. Your best bet is to sell your L501x and buying a gaming laptop up front with an MXM card. Plenty of choices out there.

I don't think that's an option.... haha. You could get a new motherboard if you're up for a challenge.
