    I have no idea what even the problem "might" be, but i try to connect it to a monitor... tv.. anything and i get no signal. any idea what it might be?

    a) make sure u have the latest nvidia drivers
    b) have u tried hitting (on keyboard) Fn+F1 to make sure the external monitor is enabled
