Can someone tell me if when they press Fn+F2 they get 4 different choices?

(All Radios off | BT only | WiFi only | WiFi+BT)?

If not, then how do you disable the BT radio?

    Thanks in advance.

Disabling the device doesn't mean it isn't using power. As long as you haven't turned on Discovery mode, it should only be listening for incoming Bluetooth signals and not broadcasting anything. You can uncheck "allow Bluetooth devices to connect" and "alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect" but that may just turn off driver abilities rather than anything on the hardware.

Still no one can chime in on if there is a way to independently control the two radios (BT/WiFi)? I reformatted and so I don't want to restore to see if it worked before...

I don't think there is a way to independantly turn off the BT. in the Windows Mobility Center control I could turn on or off the wireless, but not the BT. I don't think there is a way to have BT off and wireless on.

Sorry that I'm late in, but there is a way to turn off BT while leaving Wireless on.
Go to Windows Mobility Centre (Customized by Dell)
    Click on Radio Control Options
Tick the box for the hardware button to only control WPAN not wireless.
Use Fn+F2 to turn Bluetooth on and off while always leaving WiFi on.

Clunky, but it can be done.

Sorry, I meant to do this a week ago. Thanks for the tip. Gave you some rep too. I wish they didn't dumb down the switch that much though. I liked the Asus implementation, Where you could have all 4 combinations using the Fn+f2 key and save some power to boot if you didn't need BT. I keep it on all the time though since 4 hrs on 9 cell battery is plenty for me.
