every now and then I'll click on a link and it says it can't be found like my internet has been disconnected. I hit refresh a few times and it will fix itself. Playing online games, sometimes when people talk to me in game it says I can't be found.
I've probably taken my XPS apart 4 times, what worries me is I am not connecting the antennae to the wireless card correctly. They seem to fit snug, but the first time I was trying I was struggling a little and think I might have bent a small part of the outer circle on one lead. My eyesight isn't good enough to tell, if there's a small flaw now it is barely noticeable. I believe the inside pins are connecting very well.
Just wondering what trouble shooting suggestions people might have. I'll be taking it on a trip in a week so will be able to see if its a router problem.
I also notice there's a space for more antennae internally on the left side of the LCD panel. Is there a card you can buy that would help you get better reception if you ran 2 sets of wires from the wireless card? I don't care about throughput, as I only connect to broadband.
Those antennae connectors are very hard to snap in and feel you did it right!
